Day Nine - Open Eyes
Today (7/7) there was only one rabbit in the nest when we looked this afternoon. The remaining baby had his or her eyes open.
We're not sure if the others were killed by a predator (cat or bird) or were off exploring. We're not sure if they'll come back to the nest. After taking this one out to take a picture it didn't want to go back into the nest. This might have been the last day we see any baby rabbits from this litter!
