Getting Bigger - Day Six
Day Six of the daily baby rabbit photos. Sadly we found that only three were living today. We wonder if one was dead yesterday but we just thought he or she was trying to hide and bury his or her head to get away from the light. We're not sure if the rabbit suffocated or was just too weak to begin with.
We put the body in the woods so that it wouldn't stink as it decayed and attract any predators. Hopefully the mom will appreciate our efforts.
