QotD: Speak To Me In...
How many languages can you speak? Which languages can you read or understand?
I was a French and Asian Studies major in college. Perhaps this double major is contributing to current unemployment status. :O
So obviously I took years of French (starting in high school). From time to time Andrew and I speak French (yeah, he knows it too) but it's somewhat rusty.
As part of my Asian Studies major I took 2.5 years of Japanese. I can recognize the language but I'm no where near fluent. I'd be lucky if I could talk to Japanese kindergarten equivalents.
I also took one semester of Spanish but you'd never know it if I attempted to speak the language.
