My last photo of the year!! I knew that I wanted something of Andrew and the dogs to end my 2007 photos. Here they are being silly in the backyard this afternoon.
I've been thinking about my photography goals for 2008. I'll have something but I'm not exactly sure what just yet. I do plan on taking and posting photos frequently though.
Yesterday's photo. We had Beacon and Haven at the Critter Cottage yesterday morning as we changed some lights. They were interested in seeing and playing with the cats there. Haven especially. She kept whining and pawing at the door.
When I went into one of the rooms to feed the cats one ran out. She often will try and escape and explore the store. When she rounded a corner and two dogs came up to her she thought again about wanting to look around. She moved quickly back to the safety of her room.
The dogs just sniffed her. Beacon even seemed fine with the cat. Other than seeing one from time to time in our yard he hasn't seen one up close since he was a puppy. And then he tried to pick the cat up thinking he was a toy. Both dogs kept looking into the cat rooms hoping that they could play with one or two of them. We joked about getting a pet cat for Haven.
This is either Gordon or Garth. His brother is also white and without seeing the tail I don't know who is who. Whoever this is is stalking his brother. These two cats played and played today at the Critter Cottage. Vicky is working the half day that the store is open on Monday so today was my last day working this year. I thought it was fitting to have one last Critter Cottage cats as a photo of the day.
We sell these treats at the store. They come individually or in a "take out" box of 12. They even have dog related fortunes inside. They're a fun treat!
Leftover dinner is tomorrow's lunch.
Each year my stocking on Christmas morning has a box of Life Saver rolls. This year was no different.
I made this ornament when I thought egg cartons and glitter were cool. I was probably in pre-school or kindergarten when I made it. It still hangs on my parents' tree each year.
Catching up on the last couple of days where I took pictures but didn't post them...
This poinsettia is part of the holiday decorations on the bay window at the Critter Cottage. A local nursery donated a bunch of stuff the beginning of December.
This morning Andrew and I made some simple treats to take to a family gathering today. Pretzels, Hugs, and M&Ms.
This is Sally. She was my helper today at the Critter Cottage. She's the last of her litter, a lab/shepherd mix. She's really well behaved for a four month old puppy.
