The day started off with Haven doing her usual stare.  She does this most mornings because she's impatient and wants us to get out of bed. 

Andrew and I get up and get ready for our morning workouts.  Andrew's going for an hour and a half run. I'm going for an hour walk. 

Before we leave all of the dogs sit for Andrew.  And once I get home I take the dogs into the backyard to play.  Beacon and Haven do their usual putting moves on each other.  Honey barked and howled at them as she tried to herd them.  Apparently to her they were being a little out of control.

After the dogs are finished playing I leave to go meet Andrew at Meijer.  His run ended there so that we could go grocery shopping.   Here is is approaching the car.  This photo is taken through the dirty windshield of the car.

Once we get back home we unload groceries and get ready to leave for the pasture.  We're meeting some of Andrew's family to go on a hike with all three dogs.  On our way to the pasture Honey escaped from the carrying crate we had her in.  It has a wire top that popped off.  She eventually ended up behind the driver's seat.

Andrew, my FIL, Andrew's uncle (FIL's brother), and I were out for two hours.  We estimate that the humans went about 6 miles and that the dogs went around 12 with all of the running they did!

All three dogs had a blast.  Honey kept up with the big dogs as best she could.  They got to chase a rabbit, turkeys, and other birds as well as what we think was a deer but we didn't see it.

At the end of the hike we let Beacon fetch in the pond.  He had a good time.  Honey was mad that he was out of the pack and barked at him until he returned.  She waded in some weeds for him.  Once she jumped out too far and was forced to swim for a minute.  She looked annoyed afterward that she had to do so.  Haven showed little interest in fetching or the water.   She was happier exploring on land.

On the way home the dogs were worn out.  And once we got home they slept the rest of the evening.  They'd follow us from the computer room to the family room and quickly find a place to rest.  Even today all three of them are moving slowly. We gave all the dogs a treat of peanut butter on hamburger buns, which they loved. 

The rest of our evening consisted of watching some TV, Andrew made his lunch for the following day, and we caught up on some things online.  A little after 10 we got ready for bed.
